Rhythm Section

So lately, I've been dreaming about playing bass. Almost every night the same thing, playing bass. Sometimes I'm doing a little Peter Hook thing - tight, repetitive, undeniable. Other times it's deep, looping and somehow gentlemanly - think John Paul Jones. Rarely is it jazzy and never is it slap-happy. So what's all this say about my noggin?
